Bangladesh further extends General Holidays until May 5th

Bangladesh has announced the extension of the ongoing general holiday until May 5th to address the coronavirus outbreak.

The general holiday began on March 26th to ensure social distancing for containing coronavirus and has been extended several times.

‘The government has decided to extend the general holiday till May 5th from April 25th,’ state minister for public administration Farhad Hossain said.
