Bangladesh extends General Holidays until May 30th

Bangladesh has announced the extension of the ongoing general holiday until May 30th to address the coronavirus outbreak.

The general holiday began on March 26th to ensure social distancing for containing coronavirus and has been extended several times.

A gazette notification has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration in this regard.

All educational institutions, rail, road, river and air communications remain closed down to prevent the spread of the virus.
