Bangladesh extends general holiday until April 25th

The ongoing public holiday has been extended until April 25th as a preventive measure to tackle the coronavirus pandemic across the country.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard on Friday April 10th.

The general holiday is extended to April 23th, which means, with the weekend, it will continue till April 25th.

The government order prohibits the citizens of the country to leave their homes after 6 pm. Legal action will be taken against anyone negligent to the order. Movement between neighbourhoods and localities have also been restricted.
