Oman govt. denies social media rumours of a two-week public holiday

The Oman Government Communication Centre (GC) has moved to deny the rumours circulating on social media about a two-week official holiday for government and private sectors in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement issued online, GC said: “There is no truth to what is being circulating on social media about the Supreme Committee granting a two-week official public holiday for government and private sectors.”
