February 2020 is a relatively quiet month in terms of bank holidays. The only widely observed holiday falling on a weekday is Maha Shivratri on Friday February 21st. In addition to banks, Stock, currency, derivatives and commodity markets will also be closed on Friday February 21st.
As usual, Banks are also shut on Second Saturday, Fourth Saturday and Sundays.
Apart from that, it is worth noting that some banks in a few states will observe regional holidays. They include State Days in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, Lui-Ngai-Ni in Manipur, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti in Maharashtra and Losar in Sikkim.
