Prophet’s Birthday holiday announced for Oman

The government of Oman has announced a holiday on Sunday November 10th 2019 for the occasion of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday.

According to authorities, , will be a holiday for both private and public sectors.

The decision also allowed employers and employees to agree on work arrangements to compensate this holiday, if necessity arises.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Mecca on 12 Rabiulawal in the year 570 CE.
