The Omani Government has announced the holidays that will be observed to mark Eid Al Adha. The generous allowance means that most employees will enjoy a long break from Friday August 9th until Saturday August 17th 2019.
In a statement issued on Monday August 5th by the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Information, it was announced that Eid al Adha holidays for ministries, public authorities and other units of the state administrative apparatuses will be from Sunday August 11th to Thursday August 15th 2019. Work will resume on Sunday August 18th.
The statement also announced that public holidays for employees of private sector companies will run from Sunday August 11th to Thursday August 15th 2019.
