Banks in Pakistan will be closed to the public on Monday July 1st 2019.
In a notification issued on Thursday June 27th, the State Bank of Pakistan said that it will remain closed for public dealings on Monday July 1st 2019 which will be observed as Bank Holiday.
The notification added that all banks / Development Financial Institutions (DFIs)/ Microfinance Banks (MFBs) shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealings on the aforesaid date.
However, all employees of the banks / DFIs / MFBs will attend the office as usual, the State Bank said.
