United Arab Emirates New Year public holiday announced

The Abu Dhabi government has announced the public holiday for New Year 2019 in the United Arab Emirates

Tuesday 1 January 2019, will be a holiday for all public sector and private sector employees.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Federal Authority for Human Resources, responsible for the public sector, has announced that work will resume on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Nasser Al Hamli congratulated the country’s rulers and its people on the occasion.
