The Public holiday dates for Thailand in 2020 have been announced.
2019 saw several changes to holidays that will be carried forward to 2020. A new holiday for Coronation Day was added to the calendar in May. The date of the King’s and the Queen’s Birthday holidays also changed to reflect the birth date of the new King and Queen. The dates for the birthdays of King Bhumibol and the Queen Mother remain as public holidays.
In total, you can look forward to seven long weekends in 2020, one less than in 2019. Though one long weekend is four days, when Labour Day on Friday May 1st is followed by Coronation Day on Monday May 4th.
